Gracie Abrams’ debut album + 12 most promising pop artists of 2023
Next Friday (24) promises a lot of emotion for fans of the young singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams. After 2 successful EPs (“Minor”) and (“This is what feels like”), Gracie releases her first official album: “Good Riddance”. Featuring the participation of indie-folk hit maker Aaron Dessner (The National), who, by the way, has already lent his songwriting skills to none other than Taylor Swift, “Good Riddance” brings 12 tracks filled with Gracie’s whispering vocals, on themes that pervade friendship, emotional balance and the end of relationships, according to the 3 tracks already released. Rounding out Gracie’s year is a sold-out world tour with support for…Taylor Swift on the North American leg of the tour.
And best of all, Gracie heads a series of female pop releases that are set to invade the charts in 2023. After all, this year we also have the first album by Holly Humberstone in march, the second by Caroline Polachek and Boygenius, as well as Lana Del Rey. In the list below, we list some pop artists who also have full conditions to integrate the first line of releases, as is the case of EEVI (and its timbre similar to that of Holly Humberstone) .
