Vincent Draper and The Culls + 6 great covers to get along with the World Cup

Guess what? The World Cup is right around the corner and even those who don’t care about football, like me, can’t resist following it. And to do justice to this climate of fraternity between nations – even though the event takes place in one of the most homophobic countries in the world – I decided to put together a very diverse list of covers here, uniting styles such as blues, rock, grunge, alt.rock, classic rock and metal, of artists coming from different parts of the planet – including Brazil.

Are you ready?

Vincent Draper and The Culls – “Maps” (Yeah Yeah Yeahs cover)

Tarzanaland – “No No Song” (Ringo Starr Cover)

West End Junction – “Dragula” (Rob Zombie Cover)

VKB BAND – “Jockey Full of Bourbon” (Tom Waits Cover)

M E R O S – “Rooster” (Alice In Chains Cover)

Bruno Rocha – “People Are Strange” (The Doors Cover)

Kurtadamlar – “I wanna be yours” (Arctic Monkeys Cover)

Bonus: Mark Hamilton – Diane (Hüsker Dü  Cover)

So, tell us what did you think about our little list and don’t forget to check this one also.
