Karin Ann+13 best indie rock bands pt.3
This is only the third list of new indie rock bands, that is, there are already at least 40 great artists discovered in a few months and the names keep coming. It’s a good thing that we continue to receive important women from this scene, such as Karin Ann, author of a passionate indie-rock song “you make me miserable” (see bellow).
Although diversity is the main rule of this type of lists, this time I decided to privilege the melody. Whistling songs with catchy choruses and, at the same time, delicious. And here I highlight the Skinny Dippers‘ compositions, so damn well written as the greatest hits of 1990s bands like Teenage Fanclub. Hope you’ll like them all.

If you thought about Paramore and ECHOSMITH after listening to Karin Ann, you are right. With a catchy backing vocal (“tutu tu tu”….) “you make me miserable” also has a melody that sticks in our head right away. I could say I’m already a fan.
