Slugfeast are three friends who love to rock. Hailing from across Northern California, the trio united at UC Davis in 2022, drawn together by a shared love of freeform radio and DIY music. Comprised of Alejandro Magallan on guitar/vox, Claire Tauber on bass/vox, and Lucas Wieser on drums, the band brings together years of experience across various musical projects such as My Pet Fossil, Softie, Baseball Gregg, and New Not Shameful. Over the past several years Slugfeast have been consistently gigging throughout Sacramento and the Bay Area, creating bittersweet, fuzzy, and cathartic indie rock that seeks to comfort and challenge the body and mind simultaneously.
